Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your ThesisCraft GH account and the data that goes with it. It applies to the website and the ThesisCraft GH Android app, both operated by ORION IT GHANA.
1. Delete it yourself
- Sign in at thesiscraftgh.com or in the app.
- Open Settings from the menu.
- If you want to keep your work, download a backup or export your thesis first.
- Scroll to Delete account, enter your password and confirm.
2. Can't sign in? Ask us
Send a request through our contact form or on WhatsApp at +233 54 401 8801, using the email address on your account. We confirm the request with you and delete the account within 30 days.
3. What is deleted
Your account and profile, your chapters and drafts, sources and citations, uploaded PDFs and figures, your group memberships and supervisor links, your passes and the payment records we hold, and every signed-in session. Deletion cannot be undone, and any time left on a pass is lost.
4. What is kept
Our private nightly backups are kept for 14 days, so your data leaves them within 14 days of deletion. Paystack, which processes payments, keeps its own records of your transactions as the law requires; see Paystack's privacy policy. Our full privacy policy explains the rest.
